How to car engine sensors work?

With an ever growing automotive technology it can be difficult to keep up with all the new sensors that the manufacturers develop. As these newly developed engine sensors may improve gas mileage it can sometimes be difficult to understand what they do exactly.

We wondered the same thing and fortunately we found a website that is dedicated to just that and its all about Automotive Engine Sensors. You can learn what these sensors are and how they function. If you have a desire to know where they are located on the engine, they have that too. I have found this resource quite educational and the illustrations helpful in understanding a bit more about what is going on and where the sensors are located.

  2. The oxygen sensor of a car is placed in the exhaust pipe and can identify rich and lean mixtures. Mostly, the mechanism involves a chemical reaction that generates a voltage. The engine's computer checks at the voltage to establish if the mixture is lean or rich, and regulates the amount of fuel that enters the engine accordingly.

  3. The above car show was organized for the classic and vintage cars. The main motto of the show was to focus highlight on classic and vintage cars.By this type show it would be an assert for the vintage car keeper by selling the cars they could gain some money for themselves which they are spending on the maintenance of the cars.
